RE: Request to inform your society members of the IVC-20, IUVSTA main event
Dear President Slobodan Milosevic,
I and the Korean Vacuum Society (KVS) are honored to announce the 20th International Vacuum Congress (IVC-20) will be held in Busan, Korea from August 21 to 26, 2016. This Congress is the main event of the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA), which will attract approximately 2,000 attendees and 130 companies.
The abstract deadline is March 15, 2016, and our objective is to receive 1,500 abstracts.
I cordially ask the Croatian Vacuum Society, as an IUVSTA member society, to announce and encourage your society members and colleagues to submit abstracts. It would also be very appreciated if you could update your society’s website News/Events page with our link to the attached “Call for Abstract” file.
World renowned speakers have been invited to deliver 5 plenaries and 20 keynotes, with around 100 invited speakers in all. We are working hard to put together a stimulating package of scientific programs and events that should make for excellent opportunities for networking and exchange. IVC-20 will be the biggest and best event in the vacuum field ever held in Korea.
