U četvrtak 26.1.2017. održana je redovita godišnja izborna Skupština HVD-a na kojoj je za predsjednicu HVD-a izabrana dr.sc. Maja Buljan za mandatno razdoblje 2017.-2020. Novi članovi Upravnog odbora su: Dr.sc. Ivana Capan Dr.sc. Mile Ivanda Ivan Jeren, dipl. Ing Dr.sc.

Upravo je od organizatora Indijskog vakuumskog društva pristigla prva informacija o održavanju ICTF-17 konferencije u New Delhiju, Indija www.ivsnet.org/ictf/ICTF17. od 13. do 17. studenoga 2017. godine.  

Dana 21.12.2016. primili smo rješenje Gradskog Ureda za opću upravu o ovjeri Statuta prihvaćenog na Izvanrednoj Skupštini društva 1.9.2015.
